BID NOTICE
Pursuant to Section 103 of the General Municipal Law, the Town Board, Town of Roxbury, will receive sealed bids for approximately 9,000 gallons +/- of No. 2 Fuel Oil to be delivered as needed to various buildings in the Town. This bid will be for the 2014/2015 heating season.
All bids must meet New York State specifications and must be accompanied by a certificate of non-collusion.
Bids shall be marked “FUEL OIL BID” and must be received at the Town Clerk’s Office, PO Box 189, 53690 State Hwy. 30, Roxbury, NY 12474 no later than 2:00 pm on October 10, 2014 at which time they shall be opened. The bid will be awarded at the Regular Monthly Meeting of the Town Board to be held October 13, 2014 at 7:30 pm at the Town Hall.
The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

NOTICE - Auditions for “The Variety Show: A Catskills Folly Fundraiser for the Roxbury Arts Group”
Do you have a song, perform interactive magic acts, enjoy being in comedy sketches, or have another kind of act you would like the Roxbury Arts Group to see? The Roxbury Arts Group wants you! Do you enjoy helping behind the scenes? Then you too should come to one of the audition dates! Auditions are scheduled for Thursday, September 18th from 6 to 8 pm, Saturday, September 20th from Noon to 3 pm and Sunday, September 21st from 1 to 3 pm at the Roxbury Arts Center, 5025 Vega Mountain Road, Roxbury, NY. Anyone auditioning should bring what they need for the audition and singers may bring an accompanist, or sing a cappella. Acts who get a spot in “The Variety Show” will be given a dvd of the entire show as a gesture of appreciation and thanks for helping the Roxbury Arts Group with this fundraiser. All ages are encouraged to audition. Grievance Day: May 29, 2014
Grievance Day is the one day each year that the Board of Assessment Review meets to hear formal complaints regarding property assessments.
The Board has the authority to change an assessment if they determine a change is warranted.
Grievance forms must be filed on or before Grievance Day and are available at the Roxbury Assessor’s office or through the links below.
The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Thursday, May 29, 2014 between the hours of 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm at the Roxbury Town Hall.
