NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PRELIMINARY BUDGET
Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget for the Town of Roxbury for the fiscal year 2014 has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk where it is available for inspection during regular business hours.
Notice is further given that the Town Board will hold a public Hearing on the Preliminary Budget at 7:00 pm on November 7, 2013 in the Town Hall at which time any person may be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget or any item therein.
Pursuant to Section 108 of the Town Law, the proposed salaries of elected officials are as follows: Councilman (4) $4,532 ea., Justice (2) $7,700 ea., Supervisor $14,150, Tax Collector $9,255, Town Clerk $39,032, Highway Supt. $51,727.
The regular monthly meeting of the Town Board will be held immediately following the public hearing.

Pursuant of Town Law Section 181, subdivision 3, The Fire Commissioners of the Middletown-Hardenburgh Fire District will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, October 15, 2013, @ the 3rd Floor meeting room of the Margaretville Fire Station. Located 77 Church St., Village of Margaretville, NY @ 7:00 PM. The purpose of this meeting is to present and finalize the budget for the fire district for the annual year of 2014. Copy of proposed budget is available at the office of the town clerk during normal business hours, as well as the fire district secretary by calling 845-586-3100.

NOTICE OF COMPLETION OF 2013 TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Section 506 & 526 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor of the Town of Roxbury, County of Delaware, New York has completed the Tentative Assessment Roll for the current year and that a copy has been left at the Roxbury Town Hall, 53690 St. Hwy. 30, Roxbury, NY where it may be seen and examined by any interested person until the fifth Thursday in May. (May 30, 2013) A publication containing procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Assessment Roll on the following days: Wed. May 8th between the hours of 9:00 am – 1:00 pm; Wed. May 15th between the hours of 4:00 pm–8:00 pm; Fri. May 17th between the hours of 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and Sat. May 18th between the hours of 11:00 am – 3:00 pm.
HEARING OF COMPLAINTS – The Board of Assessment Review will meet on Thurs. Please take notice the Town of Roxbury is seeking bids for the sale of a 1991 CAT CS563 roller, single drum, smooth, 84” wide, 3116T diesel engine and hydrostatic transmission. Bid Notice — "Lake Street Bid"
BID NOTICE
TOWN OF ROXBURY, NEW YORK
The Town of Roxbury is seeking sealed bids for the construction of the “Lake Street Drainage Construction Project”. Plans and specifications can be obtained by calling Jane Sotera at RETTEW Engineering and Surveying in Delhi, NY at 845-586-2400. The construction will be done as part of the Catskill Watershed Corporation’s (CWC) Stormwater Retrofit Program, and all conditions of the CWC Program Contract including bonds and insurances must be adhered to.
Bids must be marked “Lake Street Bid” and received at the Town Clerk’s Office, 53690 State Hwy. 30, PO Box 189, Roxbury, NY 12474 before 3:00 pm on April 26, 2013 at which time they will be opened. The bid will be awarded at a later date upon CWC acceptance. The Town Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
