Trail Riding Options
Plattekill Mountain, located in Roxbury is open April through November with
over 60 miles of lift-served mountain biking and hiking trails. Their lifts
operate weekends from 10am-5pm for biking and scenic chair lift rides.
Resort amenites include bike rental shop, bike repair shop, retail shop,
cafeteria and outdoor grill.

Bike Rentals
Plattekill Mountain has a variety of mountain bike rentals available for both on or off resort premise use. Rentals are available on a daily or weekly basis. Open year-round, Plattekill Mountain transforms itself into what it is better
known as "Bike Plattekill" in the 'off season' months of April
through November. Discover 60 miles of lift-served mountain biking trails,
scenic chair
lift rides, hiking trails and camping open every weekend. The
resort is also available for private parties, banquets and wedding functions.
Plattekill is open every weekend and holiday from 10am-5pm with a full-service base lodge offering all the amenities including retail shop, bike rental shop with full line of bike rentals, bike repair shop, cafeteria and outdoor grill.
For those looking to get into the sport, Plattekill offers “Learn-to-Bike” packages with discounted rates for guided tours and rentals. If you're not one for mountain biking down a mountain, Plattekill's bike rentals can be used for both on or off the resort premises use. Other trail riding options include local trail loops (trail maps available at the mountain) as well as riding on the Catskill Scenic Trail with miles and miles of riding for all abilities. Mountain Bike Racing
A big part Plattekill Mountain's reputation in the summer months is built on their commitment to mountain bike racing. The resort is host to a large series of N.O.R.B.A sanctioned (National Off-Road Biking Association) mountain bike races. The technical terrain is among the best on the East Coast and has helped Plattekill earn a worldwide reputation.
