http://www.theroxburymotel.com
Incomparably chic yet homey, the Roxbury Motel's lime green doors tell you you’ve reached the grooviest place in the Catskills. This 11-room “boutique motel” offers an entirely fresh twist on the classic country “motor lodge.” Vibrant colors, sleek and thoroughly modern design and a full range of luscious amenities earned The Roxbury the 2005 Delaware County Business of the Year award.

Rooms range from cozy studios, rooms with kitchenettes, a three-room suite, or the entire upstairs of a house, and all come equipped with microwaves, fridges, coffee machines, high-speed internet access, blow-dryers, Egyptian-cotton towels, air-conditioning, TVs with cable and MP3 playback, DVD players, and that cool clean contemporary décor. The entire upstairs of the main house is available for groups that want to spread-out. Its four rooms include two large bedrooms, a bathroom, and a sitting room with a cool new flat screen TV.

The Roxbury has garnered the Catskill Mountain News Best Service Award for #1 Hotel/Motel in the Catskill Region for two years running, the motel was featured on CNN as part of a segment on "the 7 grooviest motels in America" and Budget Living Magazine ranked The Roxbury #2 in the "top 20 cheapest chic hotels in America!"

Breakfast is served continentally at 8 am sharp. You'll dig the freshly-ground Hawaiian Kona coffee, the chai tea, the fresh Danish, and the Ghiradelli White chocolate hot cocoa. At The Roxbury, atmosphere abounds outside AND inside your room. Nestled in the heart of the village of Roxbury on Bridge Street, The Roxbury is next door to the fabulously fun and chic Public Lounge, a great place to unwind at the end of your day.

Stone Tavern Bed and Breakfast Accommodations

Spend a weekend or a week at the historic Stone Tavern Farm, where camping isn't just for kids and trail rides are part of the deal! Or enjoy Bed and Breakfast style accommodations in a historic mountain farm. Built in 1803 by Ira Hicks, the Stone Tavern was originally used as an overnight stop for ox drivers who took milk and other goods over the mountains. The 400 acre property has been in the Burrows family off and on for 150 years and was a working dairy farm until 1980.

Additions to the house have been made, but the original stone tavern remains structurally unchanged. Stone Tavern Farm is now dedicated to horseback riding; offering lessons, boarding, trail rides and a summer horse camp for the kids. But Stone Tavern hosts John and Danielle Burrows have also opened the Stone Tavern to guests and offer topnotch Bed & Breakfast accommodations and a unique luxury catered camping experience.

The private upstairs accommodations are in the original stone tavern and include three bedrooms and one bathroom. The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own stone fireplace, another has one queen size bed and the third has two twin beds with a crib available. The spa-like bathroom offers two sinks, a jacuzzi tub, shower massage head and plenty of room to move around. These rooms will accommodate up to six people. Babysitting is available.

In addition to the B&B rooms, Stone Tavern offers a bungalow sleeping quarters separate from the house. It has a comfortable queen sized bed, kitchenette and a sauna! The unit is located away from the house so you can come and go as you like —join us for breakfast, or sleep in and prepare your own meals.

Guests are welcome to sit in front of the original stone fireplace in the Tavern's main room. Relax on overstuffed leather sofas and watch TV or just relax in front of the fire. Farm Fresh breakfast in the large country dining room is included. Stone Tavern guests also have privileges to use the swimming pond, picnic facilities and hike to your hearts content on the expansive, beautiful property.

You arrive at your camp in the evening to a roaring fire with all of your favorite foods packed in coolers ready for the fire. The camp is situated by a beautiful mountain stream, with breathtaking views of the woods and mountains.Your hosts, John and Danielle Burrows have done all of the work so you can relax and enjoy cooking your steak and potato dinner over an open campfire, sleeping in a large tent with a solid floor on comfortable cots with sleeping bags, and wake to a breakfast of fresh farm eggs, our butchered bacon and homemade sausage. Enjoy another horseback ride and return to the barn. The only things you need to supply are your clothes and the desire to be pampered.
