As All Hallows Eve approaches each year, Roxbury's Ghost Tour Coach emerges from the shadows on one Saturday night and takes its fearless passengers to see who among Roxbury's celebrated spectres will deign to appear when mystery meets history in this historic hamlet. Those grand dames lining Main Street are echoing with ghosts from the days of bustling hotels and taverns. Roxbury's rich history is a natural breeding ground for melodrama, legend and secrets told only from the grave.

Even if you're too scared to peek at the shadows emerging from the dark, you'll come away with a second sense of Roxbury's past and the most human elements dredged from the bottomless well of her history. Ghost Tours depart from the Public Lounge, where the timorous may fortify themselves for the "spirited" journey ahead! Reservations for Ghost Tours are a must.

This year's Ghost Tour rides forth on Saturday, October 25.
