ZIMMERMANS SCORE A TRIPLE BIRDIE
Brandon Anthony Zimmerman, was following in his father's and
his big brother's footsteps — and charting his own challenge course —when
he was inducted into the elite rank of Eagle Scout on Sunday, July 22 at a
ceremony at the Roxbury FIrehall. Father Fred, Eric and Brandon have all attained
the rank of Eagle. That takes a lot of support, including from mom Lin Zimmerman
who was proud to see Brandon receIve his own hard earned honors only a year
after his older brother, Eric. Brandon received the official regalia of the
prestigious Eagle Scout rank from Scoutmaster Ed Sanford, Town Supervisor Tom
Hynes was on hand to present Brandon with a special commendation and Branson
was also recognized by the American Legion.
One of Brandon’s leaders noted that Brandon can now consider himself a “marked man” — one whom other scouts and peers will look to for guidance and wisdom.
Scouts on hand to help out included Jacob Liberatore, Kevin Lutz, Garrett Hall and Sean Lutz.
