CHILDREN'S POEMS AND DRAWINGS AT THE ROXBURY LIBRARY
From Monday, December 17, 2007, through Monday, December 31, 2007, the Roxbury
Library Association will host an exhibit of Roxbury-inspired poems and drawings
by Roxbury Central School 5th graders. The poems, penned by Barry Seiler's
July 2007 RCS Summer Recreation Program creative writing workshop participants,
and the drawings, an outgrowth of RCS art teacher Amy Royal's October 2007 "Paint
the Town" children's program, respectively celebrate the town of Roxbury
in language and in art.
On Monday, December 17, 2007, at 3:15 p.m., the Roxbury Library Association will host a reception for both "Write the Town" poets and "Paint the Town" artists. The public is most welcome to attend this exhibit opening event at the Roxbury Library.
The Roxbury Library Association sponsored both the "Write the Town" and the "Paint the Town" children's programs.
