SPECIAL DELIVERY
On Monday, May 14 the Grand Gorge fire department and emergency services staff welcomed a new Argo ATV, specially outfitted for search and rescue in all terrains: even water! This amphibious vehicle was acquired with a special $22,000+ grant from State Senator John Bonacic. Roxbury Supervisor Tom Hynes (right) hands over the check to John McGinnis of John’s Argo of Schenectady, while John demonstrates the ATV’s features and capabilities to VFD and emergency squad staff in Grand Gorge, where the new vehicle will be housed.
DJ Speenburgh, Wink Hinkley, Tom Murray, Karen Hinkley, Tom Hynes and Donald Oakley were on hand to greet the newest member of the Fire and Rescue staff — an Argo ATV!
