In fact, the chilly temperature on Saturday was just a good excuse to cuddle during Valentine surrey rides for Joe Bauer and Marie Sass — who got engaged during their ride! — Steve and Bonnie Walker (married 36 years), Earl Krom at the reins with his draft horse Ed, Tom and Gail Miner (40th anniversary), John and Courtney Fairbairn (married four years), and John and Carol Sanford who were celebrating their Golden Anniversary (50 years!)
