Cub Scouts from Roxbury’s Pack 41 celebrated a year
of achievement and fun on Thursday, June 7, with a “Crossing the Bridge” graduation
ceremony. This pack (seen with den mother Karyn Lalosh) has just crossed
over into the top rank of Cub scouting and will be “Webelos” this
coming year as they work towards the prestigious “Arrow of Light” badge
and becoming full Boy Scouts. The Cub Scout Troop also welcomed lots of new
cubs.
Want to join the pack? Talk to Cubmaster Kim Cammer, who works for the Town of Roxbury as assessor. Cammer will lead the Tiger Cubs this year, so Roxbury is looking for a strong and capable leader to serve as the pack’s new Cubmaster this year. In the meantime, Roxbury Cub Scouts will continue this summer with some fun activities in the works, including a campfire.
