Hiratsuka demonstrates Stone Carving

Hiratsuka urges Jacob of Bovina to try his hand at carving stone. The demonstration
took place on Saturday, May 12, at the opening of an exhibit of Hiratsuka's
work at the Roxbury Arts Group. The exhibit, which displays 38 pieces of
Hiratsuka's work in bluestone, river rock, slate and marble will continue
at the Walt Meade Gallery of The Roxbury Arts Group through June 11.
Gallery hours are Mon. - Fri. 10 am to 4 pm, Sat. 1-4 pm, Sundays, 10 am - 2pm and by appointment. (607) 326-7908.
