Reception and Sale of Dolls and Wire Toys from the Orphans of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe

Enjoy a remarkable exhibit of handmade toys created by the orphan children of Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Local artist and teacher Dennis Gaboury will present his fascinating experiences with the children and the toy competition he organized among more than 300 poor children to help them create a sustainable venture from their ingenious creations.
Gaboury's pictures of each child with his or her toy enables those who make any size donation to send a personal note of encouragement and praise to a particular child. Gaboury will return these notes to the children directly in early 2007.
