FELTING WORKSHOPS
Saturday, November 11th
The days are still warm, but the holidays are coming. On Saturday, November 11, noted fabric artist Jill Cline will lead two workshops in the art of felting from wool that will help everyone in the family get ready for the season. Children will learn to make Christmas ornaments in the morning workshop from 10 am to 12 noon. In the afternoon, from 1-4 pm. adults will create Christmas stockings. The fee for the morning workshop is $10, and the afternoon workshop will be $35. Both fees include the cost of supplies. Classes will be held in the Old Bank Gallery of the Roxbury Arts Group, Main St. Roxbury. Pre-registration is essential. Calll (607) 326-7908.
Jill Cline, who has a second home in Denver, is a gifted fabric artist. Her work, from fanciful toys for children to gorgeously extravagant scarves, can be seen at the stand she shares with other local craftspeople at the Patatakan Farmers Market and at crafts shows regionally.
