It seemed like the whole town came out for Roxbury Central School's Open House on October 12. There were parents, grandparents, scoutmasters, and even brand new babes in arms in addition to all the students showing off their classrooms, cubbies and favorite teachers. The RCS Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) had healthy snacks for sale alongside their membership sign up forms. If you want to get involved in the PTSA, just contact one of the PTSA board (Laura O'Brien, Kathy Sass, Lela Davis, Jan Schuman, Liz Cowan or Sharon Huggins). Photos by Trish Adams

| GIVE YOUR BOARD THE ROYAL TREATMENT — RCS Board members (from left) Jim Cuttita, Phil Zorda, Vic Barraclough, Ed Fersch, and Richard Bouton (not pictured) received hand crafted tiles from tenth graders in Amy Royal's art class in recognition of their service to the Roxbury school district at the October 11 RCS Board meeting. Don't forget, the RSC Board meets the second Wednesday of each month at 7 p.m. and the public is always invited. — Photo by Trish Adams | Archie is the proud daddy showing off his new daughter, Ivory Jane, just born on the 28th. |
