RUST ON PAPER with Gerda van Leeuwen
Saturday, June 21 & 28. 12 - 5 pm
Artist Gerda van Leeuwen will demonstrate how to work with rust on paper. Students will learn how to build up colorful backgrounds in order to transform images into a bold "rust" work. The first day will be spent creating colorful sheets of paper. The 2nd session will be used to work with the rust activating process. Students are invited to bring flat rusty objects to experiment with. A fun, hands-on workshop for all ages.
Noon to 5 pm. Bring a brown bag lunch. $100 for both sessions plus a $10 material fee. Call 607-326-7908 to register.
